The body of the fogger is made of plastic, with a similar design to the popular Burgess propane fogger. A metal tank, to hold the fogging solution, is under the body. There are large clamps to attach it to the body of the fogger. The large-capacity aluminum container can hold 96 oz. ( 2.8 L ) of insecticide. This is a larger container than most propane foggers, which have an average solution tank that holds just 40 oz. ( 1.18 L ). This large container provides over 3 hours of operation per tank. There is a handle on top of the body for portability. As with many propane foggers, the fogging trigger can be found under the handle. The flow adjustment knob is on the body of the fogger. This regulates the speed with which the fogging solution flows through the heat assembly. The heat assembly is the barrel-shaped cylinder on the front of the fogger. This electric thermal fogger uses electricity to heat the barrel to a high temperature. When you press the fogging trigger, the fogger will pump the insecticide from the solution tank into the heat assembly. The high temperatures vaporize the insecticide before it exits the nozzle as a fog. The heat assembly is detachable, so, when removed, this tool will function as a mister. The electric cable is on the back of the fogger is approx. 1-2 ft. ( 30-60 cm ) in length. It has a plug at the end, so you can plug it into any socket if using it indoors.
